It all started with a global pandemic…

For many years, Dimitri ran a successful travel business. Then the global pandemic hit, and like many business owners, he made the tough decision to shut up shop.

But, when one door closes, another door opens.

In 2020, Dimitri met Alex, who has an extensive background in engineering. When Alex shared his experience with scaffolding as he built his own home, the pair saw an opportunity – to start a new business venture that would help tackle the issues of quality, reliability and safety in the scaffolding industry. They joined forces and launched Sidewall Scaffolding.

In 2021, they partnered with German scaffolding manufacturer Layher for the most advanced equipment available. Then, in 2022, Nick joined the team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and proficiency in construction. He leads our sales division and is often the first point of contact for new clients.
